Institutional Ownership

Jurnal Kesehatan is owned and published by the Institute for Research and Community Service (Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat/LPPM), Universitas Yatsi Madani, Indonesia.

The journal serves as an academic platform for disseminating research, scientific findings, and scholarly discussions on clinical and social health issues, including public health, nursing, midwifery, maternal and child health, health education, nutrition, and related fields.

Journal management is carried out by an editorial and administrative team responsible for maintaining publication quality, implementing editorial policies, and supporting the journal's academic mission.

1. Ownership and Publisher

The institutional owner and publisher of Jurnal Kesehatan is the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), Universitas Yatsi Madani, Indonesia.

The institution provides organizational support for the journal's continuity, academic mission, digital publishing infrastructure, and editorial administration.

Institutional ownership does not determine the scholarly outcome of individual submissions. Editorial decisions are made according to the journal's editorial policies, peer-review process, publication standards, and research-ethics requirements.

2. Editorial Management Structure

The journal's editorial activities are coordinated by the Editor-in-Chief and supported by editors, Editorial Board members, reviewers, and designated administrative personnel, according to the journal's established organizational structure.

  • Editor-in-Chief: Provides overall academic and editorial leadership and oversees editorial decisions.

  • Editors and Editorial Board: Support manuscript evaluation, reviewer selection, editorial quality, and the implementation of journal policies.

  • Reviewers: Provide independent scholarly assessments based on their expertise and the journal's review criteria.

  • Journal Administration: Supports OJS operations, editorial correspondence, metadata accuracy, production coordination, and publication records.

  • Institutional Management: Supports the journal's sustainability, infrastructure, and administrative operations while respecting independent scholarly evaluation.

3. Editorial Independence

Editorial decisions are based on a manuscript's originality, relevance to the journal's focus and scope, methodological rigor, scientific contribution, clarity of presentation, and compliance with research ethics.

The journal seeks to maintain academic independence from inappropriate influence arising from institutional positions, financial interests, personal relationships, or other non-scholarly considerations.

Editors are expected to disclose relevant conflicts of interest, protect confidential information, and ensure that manuscripts receive fair and appropriate evaluation.
