Author Submission and Registration

SUBMISSIONS

1. Online Submissions

Jurnal Kesehatan Universitas Yatsi Madani accepts manuscript submissions through its online journal system. Authors must register as an Author before submitting a manuscript. Authors who already have an account may log in and proceed directly to the submission process.

To submit a manuscript, please visit the Jurnal Kesehatan submission page and follow the instructions provided in the online submission system.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that all required information is complete and accurate. The corresponding author is responsible for communicating with the editorial team throughout the submission and review process.

2. Submission Preparation Checklist

Before submitting a manuscript, authors must confirm that the following requirements have been met:

  • The manuscript falls within the focus and scope of Jurnal Kesehatan Universitas Yatsi Madani.

  • The manuscript is original, has not been published previously, and is not currently under consideration by another journal.

  • The manuscript has been prepared in accordance with the journal's Author Guidelines and manuscript template.

  • The manuscript is written in an accepted language and includes an abstract in both Indonesian and English, with a maximum of 250 words for each abstract.

  • The manuscript title contains no more than 14 words.

  • The manuscript includes 3–5 keywords.

  • The manuscript does not exceed 20 pages and uses single spacing.

  • References and in-text citations follow the Vancouver citation style.

  • The manuscript contains no more than 20 references, with at least 80% preferably published within the last ten years.

  • All authors have approved the submitted version and agree to its submission to the journal.

  • The manuscript is submitted in an editable document format, preferably Microsoft Word.

  • Authors agree to follow the journal's peer-review process and publication ethics policies.

Submissions that do not meet these requirements may be returned to the authors for correction before further editorial processing.

3. Author Guidelines and Manuscript Template

Authors must prepare their manuscripts according to the journal's official Author Guidelines. These guidelines describe the manuscript structure, formatting requirements, citation style, reference requirements, and other provisions for publication.

Please ensure that the manuscript follows the prescribed structure, including the title, author information, abstract, keywords, introduction, methods, results and discussion, conclusion, and references, as applicable to the article type.

Authors are encouraged to use the official manuscript template to ensure consistency in formatting and presentation.

4. Types of Manuscripts

Jurnal Kesehatan Universitas Yatsi Madani considers manuscripts relevant to health and related fields, including:

  1. Original Research Articles

  2. Literature Review Articles

  3. Research and Field Reports

All submissions must demonstrate academic relevance, appropriate methodology, clear presentation of findings, and compliance with the journal's editorial requirements.

5. Peer-Review Process

All manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening to assess their relevance to the journal's scope, compliance with submission requirements, originality, and overall suitability for review.

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening may proceed to peer review in accordance with the journal's established review procedures. Editorial decisions are based on the manuscript's scholarly quality, the reviewers' recommendations, and the editor's assessment.

Submission does not guarantee acceptance or publication. Authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts in response to editorial and reviewer comments.

6. Revision of Manuscripts

Authors who receive a revision request should address the editor's and reviewers' comments carefully and submit the revised manuscript within the deadline specified by the editorial team.

Authors are encouraged to provide a point-by-point response explaining how each comment has been addressed. If a suggestion is not adopted, the authors should provide a clear academic justification.

Revised manuscripts must be submitted through the online journal system unless the editorial team provides other instructions.

7. Publication Fees

Jurnal Kesehatan Universitas Yatsi Madani applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 400,000 per accepted article, subject to the journal's applicable publication-fee policy.

The publication fee is charged after the manuscript has been accepted. Payment instructions will be provided through the journal's official communication channels. Payment does not guarantee acceptance, and editorial decisions are made independently of payment.

8. Copyright and Publication Ethics

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their submissions are original, properly cited, and free from plagiarism and other forms of publication misconduct.

Authors must disclose relevant conflicts of interest and acknowledge sources of funding where applicable. All authors must have made an appropriate contribution to the work and approve the final manuscript.

Authors should review the journal's publication ethics policies and copyright provisions before completing a submission.

9. Privacy Statement

Names, email addresses, and other personal information entered into the journal's online system will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of the journal. Such information will not be made available for other purposes or disclosed to unrelated parties, except where required for the journal's legitimate editorial and publishing activities or by applicable law.
