Efektivitas Penggunaan Virtual Reality (VR) Dalam Pendidikan Keperawatan : Literature Review

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Virtual Reality (VR) merupakan teknologi komputer untuk menciptakan dunia 3D
yang interaktif yang membuat penggunanya dapat melakukan interaksi langsung dengan suatu
tempat (Lingkungan), yang di simulasikan oleh komputer (Computer Simulated Environment).
Simulasi ini sesuai dengan kondisi nyata yang sebenarnya, menciptakan pengalaman visual yang
ditampilkan pada layar komputer. Dalam kondisi pandemik Covid-19, VR dapat dijadikan salah
satu media pembelajaran mahasiswa dalam simulasi klinis yang realistis sesuai dengan lingkungan
untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam praktik khususnya pendidikan
keperawatan.
Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui keefektivitas Virtual Reality (VR) dalam pendidikan keperawatan.
Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan Literatur Review dari online database UI tentang Virtual
Reality (VR). Dalam proses pencarian artikel diakses melalui pencarian internet data base yaitu
Ebscho, Science Direct, Scopus, Pubmed, DOAJ, Research Gate. Dari Review Journal ditemukan
10 jurnal yang ada kaitannya dengan Virtual Reality (VR). Hasil Review literature mulai dari
tahun 2015 sampai 2020. Hasil: Hasil Literature Review menunjukkan bahwa Virtual Reality
memiliki pengaruh dan dampak terhadap kemampuan mahasiswa untuk simulasi klinis sesuai
dengan lingkungan sebenarnya dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan.
Kesimpulan: Virtual Reality (VR) merupakan media pembelajaran simulasi yang dapat
meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mahasiswa keperawatan.
